This cookie policy supplements the privacy policy and describes cookies on vetbuss.ee. We follow the Estonian Electronic Communications Act and guidance from the Data Protection Inspectorate.

A cookie is a small text file the site stores on your device. Some cookies are required for the site to work; others are used only with your consent.

1. Consent

On the first visit we show a cookie banner. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics cookies load only if you press “Accept”. If you press “Reject”, analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice by deleting the vetbuss_cookie_consent cookie in your browser — the banner will appear again.

2. Necessary cookies

These cookies remember language, region and your cookie choice. They are not used for marketing.

vetbuss_locale — selected language (et, ru or en). Duration: 12 months.
vetbuss_region — selected region (Tartu / Southern Estonia or Ida-Virumaa). Duration: 12 months.
vetbuss_cookie_consent — your consent choice. Duration: 12 months.

Signing in to the admin area may set an Auth.js session cookie (up to 8 hours). It is not set for public visitors.

3. Analytics cookies

If you consent, we may load anonymous visit statistics (for example Plausible). This is not an advertising or profiling cookie. Analytics may currently be disabled — in that case consent does not activate it.

We do not use advertising, social-media or third-party tracking cookies.

4. How to manage cookies

Besides the banner, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the site from remembering language and region.
